The Alley Academy

A big Buffers Alley welcome to girls (4-6) and boys (4-7) to join our Alley Academy. Newcomers are welcome at any time during the year and the club will have some hurls & helmets available to borrow on the day. These sessions are all about fun and enjoyment for the children with an opportunity to make friends and get used to playing and sharing with other children with a key emphasis on physical literacy and core movement skills. The sessions take place on Saturday mornings at 10:00am in Buffers Alley GAA & Camogie Club (Y25XT50) and for the month of September there is an additional evening session in St Joseph’s Primary School, Kilmuckridge (Y25Y952) at 6.30.

 

The Alley Academy encompasses Nursery, U6 Girls and U7 Boys. There is a key emphasis on physical literacy and core movement skills. The children will also learn the basic motor skills of Gaelic games and participate in small-sided matches. The Alley Academy is the perfect introduction for all those budding future stars of Buffers Alley and Wexford!! The Alley Academy encompasses Nursery, U6 Girls and U7 Boys. 

 


Club and County Draw
Congratulations to all 40 winners across the county who won prizes in the first of the 3 monthly draws. In addition to the 40 main prizes, one person from each club also won a voucher this year.  Special mention to our local winners: Joan Maher, Clasheen who won the 5th prize (€750 Glen Fuels Voucher) with Suzanne Breslin, Ballyrea winning the club €50 Wexford Shop Local voucher.  Tickets are available for the two remaining draws (€30) with a car as first prize each month.  Contact any club member for further information or check the Buffers Alley club Facebook page.  Thanking everyone for their continued support and best of luck in the next draws.
