The prize giving for the Coiste na nÓg annual Golf fundraiser took place this evening in Upton Court, Kilmuckridge with a good attendance.

Murt Mangan, organiser of the event thanked everyone who contributed in any way to making the day such a success. He particularly thanked the 24 sponsors without whom the fundraiser couldn't have proceeded noting that Renault Ireland (Ger Hendrick) and Clover(Séan P. Furlong) had donated very generous prizes for the winners.

Following an action filled day, the following is a list of winners:

1st Place: Shay Hammel; Brian Farrell and Thomas Carbery
2nd Place: Patrick Laffan, Jason Chawke and David Morton
3rd Place: Adam Jordan, Pa Jordan and Paul Connolly.

2nd: Jack Whelan; Liam Walsh and Killian Byrne

The Chairman of the adult club, David Hughes thanked Murt Mangan, Ger Hendrick and Tom O'Connor for organising the golf on an annual basis and to all the other club personnel who were involved in any way. 

He also noted the importance of sponsors and thanked our main club sponsor, Upton Court for their hospitality in hosting the evening. The proceeds of the event will go towards promoting underage hurling and football in Buffers Alley.
