This year the hurling Féile na nGael is being organised by Wexford, Kilkenny and Carlow. Buffers Alley will host both a hurling and camogie team in addition to our own two teams participating. Preparations are now well underway with a committee in place to ensure that the weekend in June is a memorable one for everyone. Over the next few months a couple of fundraisers will take place to defray some of the costs involved, with the first kicking off the first weekend in March.

Ned & Anna of Harney’s Lounge, Ballyedmond have kindly offered the U14 Boys/Girls a Féile fundraising night of music and dance on Fri. 3rd March. Tickets are now in circulation €5 (includes door prize). All support greatly appreciated.

While the committee are ensuring that the official end of the Festival are being looked after, the panels and their mentors are busy in the indoor arena putting in the preparatory work until the weather allows them outdoors! Keep up the good work boys and girls. The whole club are behind you.
