How to Set Up IPTV on Formuler & Enigma2

Before You Start

Formuler boxes use the built-in MyTVOnline app, which makes setup simple. Enigma2 receivers (Zgemma, Vu+, Dreambox and similar) are more technical and use an IPTV plugin. If you're not comfortable with Enigma2, message us and we'll guide you step by step.

1. Formuler: add your service in MyTVOnline

   1. Open MyTVOnline on your Formuler box (Z11, Z10 and similar).
   2. Choose to add a portal or service and select Xtream Codes (or the portal type we specify).
   3. Enter a name ("IPTV Éire"), the server URL, your username and password.
   4. Save and connect. Your channels and TV guide will load.
   If we've given you a portal URL linked to your box's MAC address, choose the portal option instead and enter the URL.

2. Enigma2: install an Xtream plugin

   1. On your receiver, open Menu › Plugins › Download plugins (the wording depends on your image, e.g. OpenATV or OpenPLi).
   2. Find and install an Xtream-compatible IPTV plugin such as XStreamity from your image's plugin feed.
   3. Restart the GUI when prompted.
   Only install plugins from your image's official feed or from sources you trust.

3. Enigma2: add your login

   1. Open the plugin from Menu › Plugins.
   2. Add a new playlist or server and enter your server URL, username and password.
   3. Save, then open the playlist to load your live TV and on-demand content.

Tips for the Best Picture

• Use Ethernet on set-top boxes for the most reliable picture.
• Keep firmware and images updated for the latest fixes.
• Restart weekly to keep everything running smoothly.
• Back up your settings on Enigma2 before installing new plugins.
