Before You Start
MAG boxes connect to IPTV through a portal rather than an app. Your box's MAC address is registered with us first, then you enter the portal URL we send you. That's it, with no usernames or passwords to type.
Find your MAC address and send it to us
- Find the MAC address on the sticker underneath your MAG box (it starts with 00:1A:79), or in Settings › Device info.
- Send it to us on WhatsApp. We'll activate your box and reply with your portal URL.
Enter the portal URL
- On the MAG main screen, open Settings (or press SET on the remote).
- Go to System settings › Servers › Portals.
- In Portal 1 name type "IPTV Éire", and in Portal 1 URL enter the URL we sent you exactly.
- Press OK to save.
Leave Portal 2 empty unless we tell you otherwise.Restart your MAG box
- Go back to the main settings and choose Restart portal or Reboot.
- The box loads the portal automatically, and your channels and TV guide appear.
Tips for the Best Picture
- Use Ethernet: MAG boxes are designed for wired connections and perform best that way.
- Keep the firmware updated in Settings › Software update.
- Restart weekly to keep the portal running smoothly.
- Use the TV guide button on your remote to browse what's on.

MAG Box Troubleshooting
"Portal not found" or "Loading portal" stays on screen
Check the portal URL for typos (including the slash at the end), confirm we've activated your MAC address, then reboot.
"MAC address not registered"
Send us a photo of the sticker under your box on WhatsApp so we can double-check the MAC address.
Channels freeze or buffer
Connect with an Ethernet cable and restart your router. Wi-Fi adapters on older MAG models are often slow.
Which MAG models are supported?
Most current and recent MAG models work, including the MAG 322, 424, 524 and newer.
