Before You Start
LG Smart TVs run webOS, which supports IPTV player apps from the LG Content Store. You'll need your TV online (Ethernet is best), a phone or computer to add your playlist, and the login details we send to your WhatsApp.
Install IBO Player from the LG Content Store
- Press Home on your remote and open the LG Content Store (called Apps on newer models).
- Search for IBO Player and select Install.
- Open the app once installed.
Smart IPTV is another long-standing option on LG TVs if you prefer it. The setup works the same way.Note your MAC address and device key
- Find the MAC address and device key on the app's start screen.
- Take a photo so you can copy them accurately.
Add your playlist on the app's website
- On your phone or computer, open the app developer's official website (shown on the start screen) and go to the playlist page.
- Enter your MAC address and device key.
- Add a playlist with the Xtream details or the M3U link we sent you, name it "IPTV Éire" and save.
Restart the app and start watching
- Close the app completely and reopen it.
- Choose your IPTV Éire playlist to load your channels, films and series.
Load the TV guide (EPG)
- Give the guide a few minutes on first load, or use Refresh EPG in the app's settings.
- Check the time and time zone in Settings › General › System › Time & Date (menu names vary by model).
Tips for the Best Picture
- Go wired with an Ethernet cable for the most stable picture.
- Update webOS in Settings › Support › Software Update.
- Turn off Quick Start+ occasionally (or unplug the TV for a minute) to give it a full restart.
- 4K needs a 4K channel and 25 Mbps or more.

Availability varies by TV model and region. Ask us for an alternative, or use an Amazon Firestick or Android TV box.
The playlist won't load
Make sure the MAC address and device key match your TV, check the server URL for typos, then restart the app.
Channels buffer
Use Ethernet, restart your router and pause other downloads. See our buffering guide for more fixes.
No programme information
Refresh the EPG and set your TV's time zone to Dublin.
