Before You Start

Setting up IPTV on a Firestick takes three things: your Fire TV device connected to Wi-Fi, an IPTV player app, and your IPTV subscription login details (username, password and server URL), which we send to your WhatsApp after activation.

  1. Install the Downloader app

Downloader is a free app from the Amazon Appstore that lets you install IPTV players on Fire TV.

    1. From the Fire TV home screen, go to Find › Search.
    2. Type Downloader and select the orange Downloader app.
    3. Select Get or Download and wait for it to install.

  2. Enable Developer Options and allow Downloader

Fire TV hides app-install settings until you switch on Developer Options.

    1. Open Settings › My Fire TV › About.
    2. Highlight your device name (e.g. Fire TV Stick 4K) and press Select on your remote seven times until you see "You are now a developer".
    3. Press Back, then open My Fire TV › Developer Options › Install unknown apps.
    4. Find Downloader and switch it On.

  3. Install your IPTV app

We recommend TiviMate for the best TV guide, or IPTV Smarters Pro for the simplest setup.

    1. Open Downloader and select Allow when it asks for storage access.
    2. In the URL box, enter the download link or Downloader code our team sends you on WhatsApp, then select Go.
    3. When the download finishes, select Install, then Done.
    4. Back in Downloader, select Delete to remove the installer file and free up space.
Only install apps from links provided by our support team or the app developer's official website.
  4. Log in to your IPTV subscription

    In IPTV Smarters Pro:

    1. Open the app, accept the terms and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
    2. Enter any name (e.g. "Home"), then your username, password and server URL exactly as sent.
    3. Select Add User. Your channels, films and series will load.

    In TiviMate:

    1. Open the app and select Add playlist › Xtream Codes.
    2. Enter the server address, then your username and password, and select Next.
    3. Name your playlist and select Done.
Logins are case-sensitive. If you see "invalid login", check for capital letters and spaces at the end.
  5. Load the TV guide (EPG)

The TV guide usually loads automatically within a few minutes of your first login. If it doesn't:

    1. TiviMate: go to Settings › EPG and select Update EPG.
    2. IPTV Smarters Pro: from the dashboard, select Install EPG (or refresh it from Live TV).
    3. Restart the app once the update finishes.

Tips for Buffer-Free Streaming on Firestick

  • Go wired if you can. An Ethernet adapter for Fire TV gives the most stable connection, especially for 4K.
  • Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi. If wired isn't an option, connect to your router's 5 GHz network and keep the Firestick close to it.
  • Restart weekly. Go to Settings › My Fire TV › Restart to clear memory.
  • Free up storage. Clear the cache of apps you don't use in Settings › Applications › Manage Installed Applications.
  • For 4K, you'll need a Fire TV Stick 4K, 4K Max or Cube and a connection of 25 Mbps or more.

Firestick Troubleshooting

I can't find Developer Options

Go to Settings › My Fire TV › About and press Select on your device name seven times. Developer Options will then appear in the My Fire TV menu.

Downloader says the app can't be installed

Check that "Install unknown apps" is switched on for Downloader, and that your Firestick has at least 500 MB of free storage. Delete old installer files and unused apps if needed.

Channels load but keep buffering

Restart your router and Firestick, move to 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and close other apps. In TiviMate or Smarters, try switching the player's decoder between hardware and software.

The app opens but shows no channels
