The Camogie club celebrated 45 years on Saturday 13 December in our clubhouse. The club was honoured to welcome Aileen Lawlor (Camogie Association president), Joan O'Flynn (Camogie Ard Stiúrthóir), Rachel Hogan (Leinster chairperson) and Eileen O’ Brien (President Wexford Camogie) as well as our long standing President Mrs. Margaret O'Leary.

The night brought together many who have since moved from the area and those who are still active members of the club. It celebrated and reflected upon the successes and memories made both on and off the pitch.

The club would like to thank the sponsors of the night - Hammel's Centra, Innovate, Hearne Line Marking, The Crosses and Kate's Coffee Shop and Deli. The club would also like to thank the many guests who travelled far and wide to join us and it is because of them the night was a success.

Also a special mention to all who helped out and contributed on the night. However, the club would finally extend it's gratitude to the organising committee, without whom the night would not have been possible and would not have ran off so smoothly. Thank you to all, and here's to another 45 years!
