Christmas Wishes

Wishing everyone associated with our club and community a happy peaceful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous 2022. Thanking you all for your continued loyalty to the club. We also remember all those who are no longer with us, gone but not forgotten. They were remembered at our Masses in our local churches last weekend.

Car Draw

Buffers Alley GAA and Camogie Club have unveiled their dazzling new 2022 Peugeot 208 which is the subject of great excitement as they plan for continued development at the club grounds and preparation of club teams to cater for their ever-growing membership.

In association with Doyle’s Garage Courtown, the Buffers Alley Club Draw was launched on Sunday December 5th with the shiny new Peugeot on show in all its splendour outside their clubhouse. To be in with a chance to drive away with this spectacular prize, tickets can be purchased from Club Promoters, via their social media pages and there is also an online option through the Clubforce platform. Tickets are priced at €20 each with a very appealing offer of 3 for €50.

The club is also delighted to announce that they have teamed up with a local charity St Aidan’s Day Care Centre in Gorey who deliver a quality, caring and professional service to adults and children at Millands in Gorey. They will receive 10% of profits from the fundraising venture. Club members will be out in force over the coming ten days selling tickets with the draw to be made in 2022. A perfect stocking filler for Christmas.

Walking Track

Our walking track is lit up seven days of the week from 4pm. to 10pm. and is a great asset to the community. The facility is used daily and is proving very popular with so many people constantly working on their fitness regime daily while others just like to meet their friends, go for a stroll, and have a chat. Everyone welcome.

GAA Membership

While players and mentors are looking forward to getting back on the playing fields, you might like to organise your membership in advance to have one less bill to pay in the New Year. As is the case every year, membership is due before players commence training and playing games with 31st March the payment deadline to adhere to regulations in accordance with the GAA Club Constitution re meetings, committees, voting, etc.

Many of our Social Members (non-players, former players, supporters, and the community at large) are already enquiring about membership. The cost is €30 or even better value for a couple at €50. We are delighted to welcome new members. All membership details for adult and underage players are available via our ClubForce Online Payment System which has proven very popular. A receipt is issued once payment is submitted. The first time you pay via Cubforce you will be asked to create an account and from there on, it's a simple process. You may also contact the Club Registrar Colm on 087 8384194.
