Shedfest 2017
03/07/2017
Blue skies, big bands, terrific venue and a mighty crowd, it can only mean Shedfest. One of the biggest festivals of the summer delivered with a fantastic array of talent that kept the Shedfesters in an up beat mood for the night.
Wexford band Kobi were first on the main stage and kicked off the night with a great set. A popular group on the local scene, they brought a loyal following and we look forward to hearing more of their own material in the future.
No Hot Ashes from Waterford opened the outdoor stage and displayed the huge range of their musical talent. Hits from the last twenty years mixed with the very latest chart toppers ensured that the crowd were on their feet in what was a memorable performance.
Brave Giant, from Longford, have gained national prominence with a string a hits from “The time I met the Devil” to “Lordy,Lordy”. They kept the energy levels high and the crowd loved it.
DJ Nigel Quaid, a Shedfest legend, kept the floor full ‘till late with his usual mix of crowd favourites.
Shedfest is now a fantastic music venue with state of the art lighting and sound, and the bumper crowds each year shows the public love it.
Many thanks to all who made this year such a memorable experience. See you next year.
